DISASSEMBLING
I've always been in love with details, not only in art but in the everyday life as well. I think details enrich everything that surround us. So I started to disassemble the image in order to emphasize those details.
When you disassemble and image or a problem you can catch many different ways to look at it otherwise you could not see. First disassemble then put everything together again: now you'll have a more complete vision of the whole.
Getting into a detail is the first step to understand the whole.
We live in a world in which we are judged as fast as a scroll on your phone, disassembled and put together again in a new subjective idea they have of us.
SCOMPONENDO
Sono sempre stato attratto dai dettagli, non solo nell'arte, ma anche nella vita di tutti i giorni. Trovo che i dettagli arricchiscano, diano più valore e rendano unico tutto ciò che ci circonda.
Partendo da questo amore per i dettagli sono giunto alla scomposizione, grazie alla quale ho modo di esaltare e porre in primo piano gli elementi caratterizzanti la figura.
Quando scomponi una figura, un'immagine o un problema, hai modo di cogliere delle sfaccettature di un particolare che altrimenti non emergerebbero a figura intera.
Smembrando e poi riordinando le parti scomposte si ha una visione più completa dell'insieme.
Approfondire un dettaglio è un passo verso la comprensione della totalità.
Viviamo in un mondo in cui ogni giorno veniamo analizzati al microscopio con la velocità e superficialità di uno scroll, siamo spacchettati e giudicati per ogni singolo dettaglio che ci appartiene. Smembrati per poi essere ricomposti in un'idea assolutamente soggettiva.
DETAILS
Working on the details is a very intimate moment. It is the end of a long process, of a relationship between you and the painting, which lasted weeks, sometimes months. The painting is almost finished and those details will change everything.
DETTAGLI
Lavorare ai dettagli è un momento molto intimo. E' la fine di un lungo processo, di un rapporto tra te e il dipinto, durato settimane, a volte mesi. Il quadro è quasi finito e quei dettagli cambieranno tutto.
