Giorgio Arcuri (1982 - Rome, Italy) is a contemporary self-taught artist whose hyperrealistic paintings are mixed with his unique surrealistic technique. Raised in Rome and moved to Milan in 2014, Giorgio started using oil as a main medium to examine passion, love, sensuality, beauty, feelings and emotions, interpreting his own photography, disassembling the images, focusing on details. Giorgio leaves the viewer to build a narrative of his work. You can feel the moment stuck on the canvas and imagine what is about to happen.

Always curious and looking for inspirations for his work, Giorgio develops and creates new ways to express his ideas. He loves the whole creating process: starting from an idea, taking the reference photos, reinterpreting them and then meticulously represent them on the canvas.
